This is a visualization of professional development topics suggested by many colleagues in response to the tweet embedded below. Click through to read the whole thread. I (Elizabeth Page-Gould) came up with the categories, so the people who generated the specific topics did not necessarily endorse how they were categorized. Also, in many cases, I copied the contributor's wording verbatim; In other cases, I summarized or considered a suggestion to be similar to another suggestion. The width and label of an arrow represents how many times the professional development topic was nominated by someone. Arrows with dashed lines and a label of "0" are topics that I thought up as a result of what other people said, but they were not nominated by anyone.
